Kirkheaton is a village 3 miles (5 km) north east of Huddersfield in West Yorkshire and has a population of approximately 4,200 together with Upper Heaton.
It is the home of a number of businesses but mainly it serves as a residential village for commuters to the surrounding towns.

We hope you enjoy exploring the website and find it informative. In it you will find details of societies and organisations based in the village alongside community facilities. There are also local walks to try and a history trail. Please let us know if we have missed out anything which you think should be included.
